Common questions about these products

What is the difference between the 4mm, 2mm and 0 mm? Is this overall thickness of the mounting plate?

Thanks for your enquiry. The 0mm, 2mm and 4mm refer to the mounting plate’s nominal height, rather than its overall thickness. A 0mm plate still has a physical thickness; it is the baseline height for the hinge system.

The different heights change the hinge’s position relative to the cabinet side, affecting how much the closed door overlaps it. The correct size depends on the hinge and door arrangement.

Hi, we're looking at fitting these hinges on an inset door, what distance from the edge of the door to the pocket should we allow for?

The most common setup for these would have a 5mm distance from the edge of the door to the bore edge which means the centre point would be 25mm. We always suggest a test setup first.

This is a single hinge only and doesnt include the mounting plate.

If using this hinge on an 18mm thick carcass and a 24mm thick door, which size mounting plate do I need? Thanks

We would suggest the 0mm mounting plate for this configuration.

Sadly this product isn't weight tested, but we can confirm there is no requirement to drill the glass.
