Door Damper Unit
For use with butt hinges
Maximum door weight 60 kg
Dampens the closing action between 26 and 0 degrees on a 44 mm door
Adjustable power, slacken locking nut with 1.5 mm alan key, turn knob
Mild steel on base of unit - 0 for less resistance, 9 for more resistance
Unit is mounted in the hinge edge of the door (frame or door mounted)
Should be positioned in close proximity to one of the rising butts
c/w No4 x 5/8screws
If door mounting, ensure that the units bore hole is parallel to the door face. Placing the unit further from the hinge pivot point gives maximum mechanical advantage. The units faceplate and strike plate must be flush mounted.
