Thank you for your enquiry, you should be fine to use these hinges providing the door you have is thick enough and the joinery allows the movement. Depending on the thickness of the door you may need to offset the position of the hinge in the door to make sure the door and frame do not bind.

Simonswerk Tectus 541 3D FVZ – Offset Recessed Concealed Hinge – 100 kg

A premium concealed hinge engineered for quality timber doors where plasterboarding runs to the edge of the door frame. The Tectus 541 3D FVZ features an offset hinge knuckle that accommodates up to 14 mm of plasterboard — delivering the same clean, invisible finish as the standard Tectus range without compromising on your wall finish.

What it fits

Suitable for both unrebated and rebated flush-faced timber doors. Adaptors for steel and aluminium frames are also available — please call our sales team for details.

Three-dimensional adjustment

Once fitted, the hinge can be fine-tuned in all three planes for a perfect door alignment:

  • Vertical: +/- 3 mm
  • Horizontal: +/- 3 mm
  • Depth: +/- 1 mm
