Description

Sash window security stop set
Window can be locked closed, or locked in open position for ventilation. We would suggest second ferrule height of between 75 - 100mm from rail.
Set includes two security studs and four ferrules
Countersunk ferrule provides a flush finish
Available in a range of finishes with ferrule and stud matching.
Keys to be ordered separately code 75173 - see related products

Finishes available to match other ironmongery finishes or choose white to blend the security stop into the window finish.

Ferrule is open both ends to avoid moisture issues often encountered with fittings to external doors and windows.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Step 1: Detach part A's from their screws.

Step 2: Drill and countersink 2 holes (i) 4 inches (10cm) above centre rail of window (ii) half inch (3-5cm) above centre rail so that when screw is inserted, the head will be level with the centre rail. Use a 3/8" (9.525mm) drill to a depth of 9/10" (2.3 cms).

Step 3: Using a screwdriver fit screws into holes so that the head of the screws are flush with window frame.

Step 4: Replace part A into screw using key. If ventilation is required use top screw so that window can be opened slightly whilst still being locked.
