hi there im doing a loft conversion and im after a 2 door sliding mechanism but is quite long 4.8mt the doors are not high just 710mm so it want be no weight can you please let me know if you guys can do it and how much

Can these be used for glass sliding doors ? Also your description says 40KG max but the specification says 50KG which is correct ?

Unfortunately, the soft brake can’t be used on a glass door due to them needing to be screwed into the door. Looking into the weight I can confirm the weight is 50KG as a maximum weight for this soft brake. Which has been updated.

Is the maximum weight on this system per door or a maximum capacity for all of the doors combined?

These hinges are tested to hold a maximum of 120 kg whilst using three hinges. If your door is significantly wide, it may be beneficial adding a fourth hinge 200-250mm underneath the top hinge. This will assist in combatting lateral pull on the top left corner of the door.
