Common questions about these products
is there a maximum weight for the doors to be used?
This product isn't weight tested as the weight of the door is primarily supported with the hinges used. It's used as a door holder to withstand light movements from slightly misaligned hinges or small pressure changes within the building, but wouldn't overcome the strength of a door closer.

Is this suitable for exterior locations?
Yes, however the only finish that is suitable for exterior use is the Satin Nickel.Â

Can this be used on an external side door/gate?
As this product is made from brass this will be more resistant and wont rust so could be used externally but will tarnish over time
