Common questions about these products

Hi. Are these sprung and what is the screw centre to screw centre distance please? And the matt bronze lacquered look black, can you confirm this is the case please? Kind regards

259MM screw centre to screw centre.

Matt bronze is a dark finish, but will lighten on frequently touched area over time.

I need to buy handles to be fitted by the sea. Will they withstand the corrosion of sea air?

These handles would only be suitable in the Aged Brass Unlacquered or Aged Bronze Unlacquered finishes. We would recommend a Grade 316 Stainless Steel product, or an unlacquered finish when installing in a coastal area.

How can I tell whether I require the left hand or right hand for my door?

This would depend on what side your door is hinged, when standing inside the room and looking at the door, if the hinges are on the left side, you have a right-hand door. If the hinges are on the right, you have a left-hand door.
