| Application: Top hung, internal folding doors with concealed fittings For domestic, residential and commercial aspplications For odd or even number suites Maximum opening width 14400 mm Door thickness 40 - 55 mm Up to eight leaves may be hinged together No rebated head facility Swing leaves are best hinged to jambs When hinged to folding suites reduce door width to 800 mm Track brackets usually soffit fixed Additional brackets required where doors stack All trolley hangers have vertical adjustment Floor channel unecessary under swing leaves To prevent wheels clashing in track when open, position two and four wheel trolley hangers alternatively 1) Closed end brackets should be fitted at both ends of each track run 2) Lock joint brackets should be fitted at each track joint 3) An additional open bracket should be fitted at all points on the track where the doors stack open 4) Brackets should be positioned at 600-900 mm centre intervals along the track IMPORTANT Where the jamb to first leaf loint is hinged with butt hinges, the first leaf must be narrower in width than the other leaves in the suite The dimension A or B shown in above illustrations A = 1/2 door thickness + 29 mm = 1/2 hinge knuckle diameter + X X = Rebate depth B = 1/2 door thickness + 29 mm + 1/2 hinge knuckle diameter EXAMPLE To find B, where door = 44 mm thick and hinge knuckle diameter = 12 mm B = 22 + 29 + 6 = 57 mm FOR FURTHER ASSISTANCE PLEASE CALL OUR SALES TEAM |
